The display guides users through a simple sequence while making essential settings immediately accessible.
R&D · Research & Development
Sunkiss is built through an integrated programme of engineering, testing and continuous refinement. Every movement, parameter and interaction turns sun protection into a controlled, repeatable system.
The R&D method
Mechanics, fluid dynamics, automation, software, materials and formulation work as one integrated project.
Development moves through a continuous exchange between design, prototyping and real-world trials. Dialogue with technical partners and dermatological institutes in Parma and Modena allows every choice to be assessed in terms of application performance, safety and user experience.
The objective is not simply to dispense a product. It is to control the entire process, reducing the variability of manual application and making every cycle consistent, precise and measurable.
APPS System
Presence and body-height sensors establish the useful application area before the cycle begins.
Vertical columns follow a controlled path and adapt to the detected height, keeping the system in its intended position.
Nozzles and dispensing parameters are designed to distribute the formula evenly, reducing build-up, waste and uncovered areas.
Interface, machine logic and parameter control work together to give users a clear experience and operators full visibility.
360° application
Four columns positioned around the body operate as one system to distribute protection consistently across exposed areas.
Controlled movement and uniform atomisation replace the variability of manual application with a process designed to be verifiable and repeatable.
Engineering detail
Three visible examples of an architecture in which materials, reliability and control are assessed as one integrated design standard.
From product-contact circuits to precision elements, selected components draw on food- and medical-grade supply chains and specifications. Every part is chosen for compatibility, operating continuity and lasting quality.

The display guides users through a simple sequence while making essential settings immediately accessible.

The atomisation assembly is engineered for stability, uniformity and consistent quality through repeated use.

The POD system reduces downtime and simplifies replacement, stock control and routine operations.
Continuous improvement
Every requirement is translated into geometry, materials, operating logic and measurable parameters.
Solutions are rapidly moved into physical and software prototypes that can be assessed.
Application, usability and operating continuity are analysed across different people and conditions.
Results return to the project and guide the next technical evolution.
Formula and system
Mechanical precision is effective only when it works with a formula designed for atomisation. Viscosity, spray behaviour, sensory feel and protection are therefore evaluated as parts of the same system.
SPF 15, 30 and 50+ formulas are made in Italy, dermatologically tested and developed for a light, uniform and comfortable application.
Technology questions
Direct answers on the engineering that separates a simple dispenser from a controlled application system.
It combines presence and height sensing, controlled movement and precision atomisation to apply the selected SPF across exposed body areas through a repeatable cycle.
Four vertical nozzle columns are positioned around the user. Their coordinated geometry and movement are designed to distribute the formula evenly across exposed areas of the body.
Once the user has been detected, the application cycle takes approximately five seconds.
Yes. The interface allows users to select SPF 15, 30 or 50+ formulas developed to work with the atomisation system.
